What will this webinar address?

Generative AI tools, such as ChatGPT, are already impacting business communication. A year after the release of ChatGPT, roughly half of managers and executives are using AI to plan, draft, and edit business messages. As more professionals use AI, how will it impact perceptions of credibility? How will professionals create trusting environments in an AI-saturated workplace? How will early-career professionals avoid imposter syndrome if they use AI heavily? This webinar will address the following:

  • Describe how AI-mediated communication impacts perceptions of trust
  • Demonstrate applications of generative AI and how they influence the following elements of credibility: competence, caring, and character
  • Explain ways leaders and managers can facilitate conversations about ethics and trust in the context of AI use
  • Share learning activities to help students build credibility in a workplace where everyone is using AI
