From there, we’ll dive into writing and messaging for social media. We’ll explore the different types and tones of messages, and how they vary by platform and audience. Plus, we’ll look at what students need to know about social media as they prepare to enter the workforce. This includes writing for paid media, and types of ad formats. Social media is here to stay, making communication across the medium an essential skill for the communicators and marketers of tomorrow.

Diana grew up on the Internet. From her preteen years on Livejournal to her excessive use of Twitter in 2009, she has made it her mission to know the ins and outs of social media. In recent years, she's channeled this passion for the online world into her career as a Social Media Manager at Church+State, a Toronto based marketing agency.

Since 2017, Diana has worked across a variety of clients' social campaigns, analyzing results and providing recommendations to aid in content development. With social constantly changing, Diana works to stay up-to-date on what is new and trending to help improve and grow her clients' social content. This finger on the pulse approach also aids her in watercooler conversation; ask her about Game of Thrones sometime. She's never seen it, but she's read a lot on Twitter, and she has some feelings.
