A former 3rd–5th grade classroom teacher, Brandon brings a deep understanding of literacy instruction into his current role. He crafts customized, high-impact presentation content and delivers professional learning workshops—both in-person and virtual—designed to support district needs and enhance educator effectiveness.

During the rapid shift to online learning amid the COVID-19 pandemic, Brandon was a driving force behind remote professional development, equipping educators with the tools and strategies to keep learners engaged during challenging times.

Alycia Kidwell is an Academic Specialist at McGraw Hill Education, dedicated to empowering educators and students through Intervention and Supplemental products. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies from the University of La Verne and a Master of Arts in Education from St. Mary’s University of Minnesota.

Alycia’s passion for education, learning, and data-driven solutions has been the cornerstone of her career. She began as a special education teacher in the United States, where she developed equitable processes to support student success for learners of all ability levels. Her leadership extended to roles such as Special Education Director, where she implemented district-level policies to ensure compliance with the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and fostered inclusive classroom environments through co-teaching models.

During her time as a special education teacher, Alycia personally used McGraw Hill Direct Instruction products, such as Reading Mastery Signature Edition and Corrective Reading, to help her students achieve remarkable growth. She witnessed secondary students who had struggled with reading begin to experience success for the first time in their educational careers. This transformative experience inspired her to join McGraw Hill, where she continues to make a positive impact on students’ lives while supporting educators in achieving their goals.

He has also accomplished various Awards and Prizes like Lee Kuan Yew Medal, IPS Book Prize Award and Singapore National Academy of Science Award.
Sean is a K-12 Curriculum Consultant for Math & Science at McGraw Hill Asia. He is working with teachers on Training and Implementation in many countries such as China, Singapore, Taiwan, Indonesia, Philippines and Thailand.
