About the Speaker

Vern RIchardson

Dr. Randy Nordell is Professor of Business Technology at American River College in Sacramento, California. With more than 35 years of teaching experience across high school, community college, and university levels, he is a recognized leader in digital learning.

Randy is the lead author of the Microsoft Office 365: In Practice textbook series and most recently published Introduction to Generative AI & Copilot. He also authored 101 Tips for Online Course Success and Microsoft Outlook 2010. A frequent conference speaker, Randy focuses on integrating technology into the curriculum, enhancing productivity with Microsoft 365, and preparing students for the modern workforce.

About Dr. Laura Trinchera

Dr. Laura Trinchera is a Professor of Statistics and Data Science at NEOMA Business School in France. She holds a Master’s in Business and Economics and a PhD in Statistics from the University of Naples Federico II, Italy.

She has held visiting research positions at institutions including UC Santa Barbara, the University of Michigan, and HEC Paris, and has lectured at ESSEC, Sciences Po Paris, and Sorbonne University in Abu Dhabi.

With nearly two decades of teaching experience across undergraduate, graduate, and executive levels—in Italian, English, and French—Laura specializes in teaching math and statistics to diverse student cohorts.

Since 2014, she has integrated AI-driven courseware into her teaching, using it to personalize learning and improve assessment in large, multi-campus classes.
